Meehan

We have traced our Meehan family back to Joe’s great-great-grandmother Ellen Meehan and two possible sisters, Mary and Winifred. Ellen was born around 1818 in Cootehall, Co. Roscommon. In the early 1840s Ellen married Laurence O’Hara, with whom she had 10 children. They family lived in Clegna, Cootehall, Co. Roscommon.
