I have been given a birth year for Con by a family source of "about 1917". However I have been unable to locate a birth record for him. His parents married in February 1916 and their eldest children were born in March 1917 (Laurence Patrick), February 1918 (Phyllis) and June 1919 (Michael) so it would seem he could not have been born about 1917, unless he was a twin of one of the above siblings or he was in fact Laurence Patrick but was called Con by his family. Or perhaps he was born much later than 1917.
